Island Club of Hilton Head

It’s that time of year again – Loggerhead Turtle Season! How does this effect Island Club? All units/buildings facing facing the ocean must close their blinds/curtains at dusk until dawn to block out any light inside their unit from being seen on the beach. Your balcony lights must be off as well. This is to keep the turtle hatchlings from being misguided and resulting in them heading inland instead of following the reflection of the moonlight on the ocean and heading out to sea. We’re happy to report that Atlantis and Waterway have been completed in our door installation project. We started on Neptune today, working first on Building 6 and making our way around to Building 4. We have been handling issues as we encounter them and for the size of the project, things have been running incredibly smoothly. The new door installation has officially begun. The crew has started in Altantis Building 3. Once completed, they will move on to Building 2, and then 1. Neptune and Waterway will follow – we will post updates regarding which building will be next as we get closer to completing the installs in Atlantis. They will be working from 8:30am until 7:30pm. Door installations will begin April 16th 2012. One of our Courtesy Team members will be patrolling the area and passing out hardware as the installation crews install the new doors. If you have any questions about the door installations, please call the Regime Office at 843-785-6776 – memos were left on all unit front doors earlier today with additional information about the installation plans.
